Between September 2007 and March 2010, The Panjabi Centre / Desi Radio ran a series of 12-week radio production and presentation courses for women. The training was delivered by Women’s Radio Group and the trainees' work was accredited by the Open College Network. The trainees learnt radio production and presentation techniques and skills, including:interviewing, studio presentation and programme making. As part of their portfolio they recorded jingles, reports, features and a magazine programme. In addition, selected items covering a range of different topics were published as a showcase on this website.
