PEARLS Radio Presentation and Production Courses

PEARLS 1 & 2 trainees with John McDonnell MP at the House of Commons, 14 October 2008.Desi Radio is running a series of 12-week radio production and presentation courses for women.  The courses are funded by The London Development Agency Opportunities Fund and are being delivered in partnership with the training charity Women's Radio Group.

The trainees learn radio production and presentation techniques and skills, including interviewing, studio presentation and programme making - as part of their portfolio they record jingles, reports, features and a magazine programme.  Their work is accredited by the Open College Network; in addition, selected items covering a range of different topics are published on this website.
