WHAT IS GO DESI!
‘Go Desi’ is a community radio project located at Desi Radio, in Southall, West London. The project is supported by funding from V (the national agency promoting and supporting volunteering amongst young people) and provides an exciting opportunity for young people principally to learn some broadcast skills and develop ideas, and to make programmes for the community on a real live community radio station.

WHO IS IT FOR?
We are looking for you if:
~ you're aged between 16 and 26
~ you live, work or study in West London and
~ you're keen to learn new skills and make radio content that will really engage younger members of our radio audience.

You will need to commit to giving some of your time to the project. We will offer you an initial 30 hrs of training and then give you support to work toward programme making and other activity at Desi radio.
