'PEARLS' Radio Presentation and Production Courses
Desi Radio is running a series of courses for women in West London, called 'PEARLS'.  Trainees on the first few courses have been loading some of their programmes and audio items onto this website - click here for details and to listen to their work.

In March 2007 the Women's Group of the Panjabi Centre held a free exhibition recreating Desi Village Life at the Dominion Arts Education Centre, The Green, Southall.  This was an exhibition of authentic handicrafts, furniture and textiles. It was followed by a Panjabi cultural evening with  Giddha, Jago, Bhangra, Poetry and Drama.
