Desi Radio is running a series of courses for women in
West London, called 'PEARLS'. Trainees
on the first few courses have been loading some of their programmes and audio

Desi
Village Life exhibition
In March 2007 the Women's Group of the Panjabi Centre held a free exhibition recreating Desi Village Life at the Dominion Arts
Education Centre, The Green, Southall. This was an exhibition of
authentic handicrafts, furniture and textiles. It was followed by a Panjabi cultural
evening with
Giddha, Jago, Bhangra, Poetry and Drama.
