PEARLS trainees from Desi Radio will be taking part in Radio 1812, a global online and local radio project for International Migrants Day from the NGO December 18.

With interviews and reports from trainees on the PEARLS project at Desi Radio in Southall, including an interview with Ajit Khera from Desi Radio.

Richard Ellis presents a programme of music and information from the Irish Cultural Centre Hammersmith and from other organisations supporting migrants in West London
4.30pm Radio 1812 from London
Cathy Aitchison's guest is the artist and broadcaster Cecilia Wee.  Plus reports from around London including from the Malaysian Association and the Masbro Centre - and a report on food and migration from Charles Ogunnowo.
5pm Migration and Music
Elohor Pedro Knowles and Sara Eliot explore some different influences in music.  With guests including drummer Barak Schmool.
5.30pm Shared future - where are we going now?
Refugee Week Radio takes a look at the issues surrounding migration and dispersal around the UK, including interviews with Clare Daley (West Midlands Strategic Migration Partnership) and with filmmakers Harriet Grant and Rachel Stephenson.  
6pm Radio 1812 from London and beyond
Including Zak Brophy with a reflection on living in Lebanon, plus an interview with Anna Ejindu on coming to London from South Africa in the 1960s.
